Site Front by Chote Works

For Aussie trades & local businesses

Stop losing jobs to a website that can’t answer the phone.

I build fast websites with an AI assistant that answers customer questions at 9pm, collects the job details, and lands a ready-to-quote enquiry in your inbox. I write it, build it and set it up; you check the facts.

Free, no call required. Send your web address, get back a list of where you’re losing enquiries.

How much for a driveway? About 60 square metres, pretty mouldy.

Driveways are priced on size and condition, so the team confirms a quote after seeing photos. Which suburb are you in?

Palmerston. Any day next week is fine.

Palmerston’s in the service area. Here’s what I’ll send through — check it’s right:

Job
Driveway clean, ~60 m², heavy mould

7 places your website is leaking jobs

  1. 01

    Nobody answers after 5pm

Plenty of people look for a tradie in the evening, on the couch. If your site’s only answer is “call us”, they call the next one on the list.

  2. 02

    No hint of price

“From $X” beats silence. Even a range, or what changes the price, keeps people from bouncing to someone who does say.

  3. 03

The phone number isn’t one tap away

On a phone, your number should be a button, visible without scrolling. If they have to copy and paste it, some won’t.

  4. 04

The page slides sideways on a phone

A common defect on small-business sites, and you won’t see it on a desktop. It makes you look broken before they’ve read a word.

  5. 05

    The quote form quietly fails

A form that says “thanks” but never delivers is worse than no form. Test yours today from your own phone.

  6. 06

You moved sites and Google lost you

Every old page address needs to point somewhere new. Skip it and years of search ranking turn into “page not found”.

  7. 07

Shared links show a blank card

When a happy customer shares your site in a group chat, it should show your name and a photo — not an empty grey box.

What you get

What’s in Site Front

Six pieces, all built and set up by me, for one fixed price quoted after our first call.

  • A fast, phone-first website

Your number is one tap away on every page, and every page is tested at common phone widths so nothing slides off the screen.

Replaces A slow template site nobody updates

  • An AI assistant that knows your business

Trained only on facts you approve: services, suburbs, what you can and can’t price. Answers questions any hour of the day.

Replaces Missed calls and “sorry, just seeing this now”

  • Ready-to-quote enquiries in your inbox

The assistant collects the details you actually need — suburb, job, size, timing, photos-ready — and the customer checks the summary before it’s sent.

Replaces Five back-and-forth texts per job

  • A quote form that can’t silently fail

If anything breaks, the customer is shown your phone number instead of a “thanks, we’ll be in touch” that went nowhere. No lead disappears into a void.

Replaces Forms that quietly stop working for months

  • Found on Google, locally

Proper page titles, service-area markup, sitemap and share cards, done from day one.

Replaces An SEO agency retainer for the basics

  • Moving off Wix or Squarespace without losing Google

I map every old page to its new home, so the Google rankings you’ve built don’t turn into dead links on launch day.

Replaces Starting from zero in search

The guarantee

Build first. Pay only if you launch it.

I build your site on a private preview link before you pay a cent. Click around, try the assistant, show your partner. If you don’t want to put it live, you walk away and owe nothing.

How it works

Your total effort: about one conversation.

  1. 1

    One call

About 45 minutes. Your services, your area, your prices (or why you don’t publish them), and the ten questions you answer every week.

    You talk

  2. 2

    I build it

Copy, design, the assistant and the enquiry flow. You get a private preview link to poke at, share and pick apart.

    You review

  3. 3

    You go live

Approve it, and it launches on your domain. Enquiries land in your inbox. Changes after that are an email to me.

The work

Don’t take my word for it. Go and poke at it.

One live client site and one demo. Both are public, so you can test them yourself tonight.

Live Client · Darwin, NT

Top End Pressure Cleaning

A new business in Darwin. Rebuilt from a hand-coded site onto Site Front, with an assistant called Jess who answers questions and collects quote details at any hour. The site claims no reviews or years in business it doesn’t have yet.

Marlow Creek Garden Care

Marlow Creek Garden Care is a made-up business I use to test every Site Front change before it reaches a client. The assistant is real. Ask it anything. Ask about prices and watch it refuse to make one up. Give it a fake enquiry and see the summary it builds.

The fine print, up front

An AI that won’t embarrass you in front of customers.

The worst thing a chatbot can do is confidently tell a customer the wrong price. Here’s what mine will and won’t do.

  • Only answers from facts you’ve approved. If it doesn’t know, it says so.
  • Never invents prices, availability, licences or reviews.
  • Nothing is sent until the customer reads the summary and taps “Send enquiry”.
  • Can’t send the same enquiry twice, however many times someone clicks.
  • Daily limits on spam and AI spend, so a bot can’t run up a bill.
  • Doesn’t log your customers’ names or phone numbers anywhere they don’t need to be.

Is this for you?

Yes, if…

  • You run a trade or local service and the work comes from your area.
  • You miss calls because you’re on a job, driving, or it’s after hours.
  • You answer the same questions over and over before anyone books.
  • Your current site is slow, stale, or stuck on Wix and you know it.

Probably not, if…

  • You want a big-agency brand campaign and a 40-page strategy deck.
  • You want a site full of reviews and awards you don’t actually have.
  • You’re not ready to reply when a good enquiry turns up.

Who’s building it

Hi, I’m Nick.

I run Chote Works. I’ve spent 15+ years building and selling the software that keeps water utilities, mines and hospitals running — maintenance systems where a missed work order actually matters. I’ve written the SQL, built the integrations and sat through the go-lives.

Now I use AI every day to build things fast, and I got fed up watching good local businesses lose work to websites that just sit there. So I built Site Front to do the boring parts properly, and I build every site on it myself, from the Sunshine Coast.

Questions

Common questions

What does it cost?

A fixed price, quoted after our first call, once I know what you need. You see the working preview before you pay anything, so you know what you’re paying for.

Will the AI say something wrong to my customers?

It only answers from the facts we agree on together, and it’s built to say “I don’t know, I’ll pass that on” rather than make something up. It won’t quote a price you haven’t approved. You read every enquiry before anyone commits to anything.

Do I have to change my phone number or email?

No. Your number stays front and centre, one tap to call on mobile. Enquiries go to the inbox you already use.

I’m on Wix / Squarespace / an old WordPress site. Is that a problem?

That’s the most common starting point. I move your content across, redirect every old address to the right new page, and point your domain over when you’re happy.

Is this a subscription that locks me in?

We’ll agree the ongoing side on the first call, in plain English, before anything is built.

Why would I trust a solo builder over an agency?

Because you’ll be dealing with the person who actually builds it, and you don’t have to trust me — you can test the live client site and the demo today, then test your own site before paying.

Will your branding be on my site?

Only a small “Built with Site Front by Chote Works” line in the footer. Everything else carries your business name, on your domain.
